Contact-wire jig
The jig for the contact wire: with it you make the wires at exactly the lengths TRAX works out for your layout. It goes with every overhead-line system and is sold separately.
Prints in H0N
Your Community Creds give you 20% off the overhead-line plugins.
You pay at WAZO3D, the maker of the generator. That is also where your invoice and your licence come from.
The film goes here: TRAX hangs the line over a station, then a print in the hand.
How it works
- 1
Lay the line in TRAX
Mark your tracks as electrified: TRAX puts the masts, portals and tensioners where they belong, by the system you choose. Free, like everything in the editor.
- 2
Generate in WAZO3D
The plugin turns that placement into printable parts: every portal made to fit its tracks, the wire lengths and the counts.
- 3
Print and bend
Print the masts on your own printer, bend the contact wire on the jig and put the line up on the layout.
The working drawing in the TRAX building plan
With the TRAX building plan your overhead line comes with a detailed working drawing: where every mast goes, and how the contact wires are hung.
